So I was checking out Craigslist the other day and saw a Kodiak 6' rotary brush cutter advertised...called the guy, found out it was a young dude whose grandad owns an apple orchard, no longer had use for his cutter, only 3 years old...asking $400...crazy deal but small problem, missing front half of the pto shaft. The rest of the cutter is in awesome condition, just the missing link (so to speak).
My question...should I just buy a whole new shaft (around $150 or less) or try to find the outer sleeve, outer and inner yokes, etc. Any of you guys savvy with pto repairs? In your opinions, which is the cheapest option...which is the best option?
