Found a piece of Bolens gold yesterday

I have been in search of a Capa CP-145 hydraulic "spin on" filter the entire year that I have owned my Bolens/Iseki 1052 tractor. Friday I called Ray's mower service in Boyertown, about 100 miles from me and the lady said, "wait a minute, Is it blue? After looking thru some filters" I knew then she had it, so I went to pick it up yesterday, I cant believe they stocked it. They have been a big help with a few small parts for my Bolens since owning it. My wife was like "whatever" when we picked it up, I told her I feel like we should put it on our mantle at home after as long as I have been searching for one, cause its like Bolens Gold LOL.

I didnt really see the purpose of posting a photo since I actually installed it already on my 1052, however I decided to anyway as I knew I would get asked about it. The numbers on it in marker are my hours on the tractor. They say its good for 300 hours, however since I am a very meticulous vehicle owner, im draining the old filter (also pictured) to send to WIX to have it cross referenced. I contacted them a while back and they told me if I could remove it and send it to them, they could easily find an existing filter that is more than likely already made to replace it. If I get some helpful results from this I will post them here in a new topic, as in my search for this filter I have only really found other people looking for a cross for it. I was not about to remove this filter without having a new one to put on as I use this tractor alot anymore.

I found a reference to a WIX 51205 matching a CAPA C-145. It might be a starting point for you.

I actually bought and returned that filter, Napa/Wix, its considerably larger even at the gasket. Its a cross for a CP145IV or something like that. Mine is just a CP-145
