We moved into our new house in June of this summer (2005). The inside was mostly done but there was virtually nothing done to the outside of the property except rough grading. I didn't think I would get to putting the stone on the outside of the foundation until at least next spring...until one day the boss decided it needed to be done (and now) so she bought and had the stone delivered that week. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
After some searching I found an installer that works for a local stone company during the week and does side jobs on the weekend. He agreed to work with me to install the stone over several weekends. This was perfect because I wanted to do the work myself but having a pro around would make the project go a lot faster and ensure it got done right.
I will post pictures of our progress and one or two of the finished product.
Let me know if you have any questions, tips or thoughts (especially how I could finish the front steps/posts in the stone).
Thanks,
Fred
