I finally got around to getting out the backhoe for the first time which required mounting it. The concept is not difficult to attach it but the alignment seems out. If you line up one side of the frame on the hoe to the tractor mounting frame the other side of the hoe frame would be a 1/4 to 1/2 inch out. We finally got it on but it required an interference style fit. Is this normal? has anyone adjusted the hoe mounting frame? and how did you do it. We thought if we just loosened the frames adjustment lugs while it was attached to the tractor it would almost self adjust. Any experience with this?

Thanks

Have you sorted this out yet?
What do you mean by "an interference style fit?" Maybe a couple of pictures would help.

I have this hoe on a TC-30. The dealer mounted the frame and made any adjustments, if any.
Getting the tractor frame lined up and square with the brackets on the hoe is important.

I have this hoe on a Kubota B3030 and the hoe slides into the sub-frame without much issue. It's tight but the frame and hoe line up. My sub-frame
mounts directly to holes in the axle housing. If yours is similar you may be able
to put some spacers on one side.

You should be able to download the installation manual from the Woods website as that might give you some insight as to what may be wrong.

The frame on the hoe was a 1/4" off, you would line it up one way and it would not mesh on the other side. We wrapped a large cargo strap with a winch and pulled in the frame and retighten her up and now she fits fine, took the ten minutes to put it on :)

The frame on the Hoe is adjustable for width, the adjustments we made on the weekend made it a much simpler job to attach. I really like the rear view camera idea that 4shorts mentioned in the best modifications thread that would take at least one in and out of the cab out in out, lol. The frame width can be change up to at least and inch if it is not done right it stands to reason that the attaching will give challenges. I really feel my dealer's service department sort of dropped the ball on the predelivery preparations on the new tractor. Things are getting there though with no complaints for NH and the CVT tractor.

That's great!
If you have a choice, I'd be looking for a different dealer.
