I Have posted threads in attachments, owner operator and hyd. now here on this tractor and progress. I am needing advice and knowledge to avoid any problems here I am not seeing. I have a John Deere 5105 tractor, (100hrs), Just bought a 10A backhoe to mount on, and it is requiring modifications even though the 10A is for a 5000 series and the 5105 is recomended to an 8A backhoe, we all know JD used the same sub frame for all the hoes in the series , just cut to fit ect. I have attached pictures. My concern is the structure limits and to properly beef it up. 5105 had a slightly smaller chutch and rear houseing than the rest of the 5000 series tractors. I have mods being mfg now but welcome any advice/knowledge to make certain i do it right. John deere says backhoe will fit and work , but not recomended for the 05 series because the 10A does not give alot of ground clearance. Easy fix and in the works. Let me get this thread started and add more photos.
Also adding a root grapple to the front and want to outfit the tractor for other attachments. Also bought $4300 in hyd scv and rams to upgrade this tractor to the max limits, see other threads in attachments, posted actuall reciept from JD, I am doing all the install and fab work.
