Fransgard Forestry Winch

I have been reading these forums for the last couple of months as I researched Logging winches. One question I have is if anyone knows about the Fransgard logging winch documentation.
There is a 21 page Handbook/Manual that has 2 pages of English and a single paragraph on three other pages with a parts breakdown. The rest is Danish, German, and French. There is also a Safety, Maintenance and Operation Tips for North American winch models document that is 10 pages . On the front cover of which is the statement: "The owner's operator and repair manual included with the machine must be read prior to using this machine." Has anyone ever seen these other documents? JS Woodhouse has the first two on their web site but nothing about the other ones. The local dealer is trying to look into this but thought I would ask on the forum.

I bought a used Farmi 601, and found the full user manual on the internet. Farmi publishes it there. Maybe Fransgaard does too...... I dunno but seems no one else looking at this thread has any ideas........so there you go.


BTW, the Farmi is an ANIMAL! Maybe the best implement purchase I have ever made in the context of productive work and fun to use quotient!

You are correct. The web is the only thing that has helped me so far. That is where I found the two documents that I have. The one of which points out the existence of the other two that I am now looking for. The dealer who is trying to sell me the Fransgard "lost" the original documentation and tried to supply me with the two that they printed out from the web. Needless to say I did not take possession of the equipment but told them to find the correct documents. Makes me think maybe I should go for the more pricey Farmi afterall.
If any current Fransgard owners could look through their original manuals and documents it would be helpful.
