I just bought a Fred Cain S2 subsoiler. Trouble is it looks bent. After I located it, my wife went and picked it up, so I didn't get to inspect it before it arrived. Before I give the dealer a hard time, I thought I'd ask here in case it is supposed to be offset. Looking down the main shaft that holds the bit, it curves to the side an inch or two. This means the bit would not be directly behind my tractor, but rather slightly off to one side. The shaft is very thick steel, so it could not have bent easily. Does anyone out there have this model or know anything about it? Should the shaft be bent to one side?

Thanks,
Doug

I have a Fred Cain subsoiler, but I'm not certain to model as I picked up up a auction. It's shaft is straight, no bend at all.

Don't know my model # either, but it's straight.
