FREE GRILL GUARD!

I'll give this one more try - I have installed the Armour Package on my 4700 (Great idea) -- I have the grill guard left over from the 460 loader package - if somebody would like it - and wants to pay the freight from CO to ? email me at woodmnctry@qwest.net

I too have the Extra Armor pkg so really have no need for the grill guard. Since it (the grill guard) is part of the Loader "package" anyone with a JD loader already has one... but I'm sure someone without a loader would be interested! Thanks anyway!

GADFRY! I had no idea giving something away was this difficult - guess I should have asked big $'s and that would have made it easier. The grill guard is part of the loader package for a 460 loader that fits (to the best of my knowledge) on a 4500, 4600 or 4700. The guard fits on the front end frame of the tractor and is independent of the loader. Hope this helps - if not - I give up>

I'm sure with a little modification it could be made to fit. You might need to do a little cutting or welding but you'd probably end up with a nice big guard.

Mine got bent up in a mysterious way. Let's just say the owner had cranium vapor-lock while fooling around with the loader.

Now that is an understatement! Every spring we place and add in the paper for FREE horse manure - we load - you haul. You cannot believe what that brings out of the woodwork! This has turned into and annual thing - some repeat "custormers" -----what a hoot!
