I can稚 stand people that litter either but I don稚 know how you chock it up to being the franchises fault. That痴 as bad as the guns kill people or the spoons make people fat argument. The source of pretty much every problem is a people problem not a product they?*e using problem.
That's fair. But the litter I pick up almost certainly came from the nearest franchise or maybe the next nearest franchise. Point is, collectively, all the litter "returned" by a community would end up where it came from. Civil disobedience can work. They spend billions convincing us that their food is the best or the cheapest, and they ARE masters of manipulating consumers. Why not spend part of that ad budget encouraging their customers not to be dicks? Best chance of that is when the cleaning up after themselves is more expensive than encouraging customer responsibility.
