Hello folks....
For those of you that buy or sell freezer lambs, straight off the farm...what do you think of this pricing:

I am not sure what the $3.50/lb price covers...would you assume that it means $$3.50lb live weight? It seems a bit high to me to mean "live weight", and seems to low to be the after butchering weight...
Also, how much do the rest of you that either buy or sell freezer lambs pay or recieve? some in my area charge a flat $xxx per animal, plus butchering costs (w/no regard to weight), others charge by the pound...wondering pros and cons of each as I pick up my own operation...
