Hi all! I changed my BX23 transmission and implement fluid for the 300 hour service. I did NOT have the loader or backhoe on, and I tried really hard to give all the fittings a chance to drain (held pins in and waited, etc). Seemed to really 'pep up' the tractor motion and I believe it sounds better too.
Now, I really hate the idea of adding those implements and their dirty oil back into the system. Anyone got a procedure to drain, and maybe refill implements either off the tractor or when going back that will minimize mixing? The FEL section is all hoses (no valves as it sits, valve stays on tractor) and the BH has the valve manifold attached and hoses looped together - a feed and hi pressure return if I recall.
I don't think I can manipulate most of the cylinders manually (attached) to empty and suction fill - I've hit my limit in age vs strength.
Any suggestions? I will probably want the FEL right soon...
