Hello all! Long time follower and finally have some equipment to ask some questions about. I've recently revived my fathers old JD1020 this winter. It sat for a decade in the weather but I got it back and operating from reading the threads on here.
Also recently acquired an old JD790 and JD990. Both look great with under 1500 hours each. Hoping to get some great service from them both.
I also acquired a BX2200 some years ago with MMM, FEL, BB & bush hog. This is my all around mower/mover/yard machine. The old JD lx255 is still kicking for yard duty as well.
My objectives are to make some hay, run some animals of some types and keep after the 9ac in hay and pasture and 5 or so in woods.
This is a hobby for me and if I can eventually turn a buck that would be what I'm shooting for. The most enjoyment I get is from bringing older gear to life and making money out of barn burner deals. I have less than 10k in all my gear, but the hour meter on love has been spinning like crazy.
The latest is getting a old 24T up and spinning. Found one from an original owner in good condition for its age. Hope to spend some winter hours wrenching on that and then get my sons out picking up bales next spring.
Appreciate the support from the guys on here. Hoping you'll save me some frustration and want to share what I can as I learn as well. Thanks
