While I was at the dealer's, arranging to buy a GC2310, I noticed a front 3-point hitch on a Kubota compact tractor.
He didn't have any specs on it (lift/etc), but looked into it for me, and told me that I could get one for $2250 (best cash price) for my GC2310. It looked pretty hefty - everything was made out of 1/2" steel. The mid-PTO is run though a gearbox reducer to convert the 2000 RPM of the mid-PTO to 540 RPM at the front PTO. The lift mechanism is run off the loader joystick. It didn't come with a remote, but one could be added (for additional cost) and run off the loader joystick as well.
Anyone have one of these, that can comment on it, and what it is like to use with with a front-mount snowblower, or a front-mount snow blade?
With the price of Massey Ferguson front-mount snow blower and mounting kit being so high, a front 3-point hitch plus a used 5' snow blower looks kind of tempting. (When my wallet recovers from the shock of buying the GC2310
