Hello all, I have an older model 135, the axle pivot pin bushing looks to be completely gone, enough room to stick a flat head screwdriver between the pin and housing. How hard of a fix is this? Also I still need to use the tractor for pushing some dirt, will I destroy the pin or the housing if I keep using it this way? Any help is appreciated.

Im in the same boat. My bushing is all but gone. When I had the front end off doing a motor rebuild, I tried to drive the pin out so I could replace the bushing. It wouldnt budge with the penetrating oil and a good size hammer. So for the time being I just put it back together and finished getting the motor running. I figure I will have to take the front end in to someone that can apply heat and a press. May try the heat and hammer myself first, but that pin is in there tight. Not only do you have to tap it out, you also have to line it up with the keeper plate when you tap it back in, so with any luck you can rotate the pin once its in. Post back on your progress, im sure I will have more questions by the time I get mine fixed. Good Luck, TB

Thanks, it looks like there is just the one bolt that holds the pin in and the pin itself looks ok, i may use it just what I have to right now then try knocking the pin out and replace the bushing. Found one for around 9 bucks at davis tractor parts, the pin was almost $50! I was wanting to put a loader on this tractor but I definitely want to fix that bushing first. Anyone know if they ever made a front mounted hyd. pump for that? It looks like the pump shaft would have to run through the axle pivot pin, maybe I'm missing something though.
Thanks
RB
