Front drive line

Anyone know how to take the front driveshaft off and check gears for 4wd on Mahindra 3215HST?

It almost looks like there is an identical sleeve at the rear of the front driveshaft. Push the outer tube forward so you can see the rear part that connects to the transmission. Remove snap ring (slide forwards on shaft), then shaft can be slid rearward to disconnect from front axle. That is what the parts book looks like.
