Okay, I have a simple question but don't know what the part is called. I want to get a part that mounts on the bucket arms that tells me when the bucket is sitting level. My neighbor has one on his John Deere and it works great. Just want something like that on my tractor.

I think it is a bucket level indicator and they came on our 5030 and 8540. You might need to check with your dealer to see if one is available for that model or can be used from another machine as they are pretty simple consisting of a tube and rod. I don't have a good picture, but this may help.

I see you have a L4400 and that is what I have. I installed the FEL level on mine a while back here is a thread with the details and part # for you.

I always bend those things so I took mine off my new 9540 before I bent it. If you want mine make me an offer!

Mine is built a little different than the one TripleR posted. Mine bends and runs horizontal with the loader.

DT,
I am not sure what they cost and would not want to offer you something that was not fair. If you have an idea on cost/price you want please let me know. Either on here or pm me. Thanks

Ohh, you take it off BEFORE you bend it.

I don't have mine on most of the time, one is sitting in a corner of the garage right now, you get to the point you really don't need them after a while.

Yeah I don't have enough seat time on mine to get the bucket right, and I split time with on a jd that has one and it helps for a newb.

Oh it takes time for sure and some buckets are different profiles than others. I started using my first FEL a MF 375 back in 87. All of our tractors have had a FEL since then and I am still not as good as I would like.
