Work on a tractor? My answer is no.
There is a difference between mounting a tool like that to the frame of a skid steer and mounting something like that to loader arms, and I'm being kind. That said, were you digging sand and didn't turn the tractor over when you slewed the full bucket, I suppose anything is possible. The weight bias on a tractor is on the rears. It is easy to lift the front end with a loader bucket, the same thing would happen with a hoe bucket, all other problems aside.
