I forget, who was it that had hydraulic lines brought to the front for grapples and such? Before they took the tractor from the dealer.
Can you provide pics and info?:)

RnR,

My dad and I ran hydraulic lines up front for his Kubota. We put a T in his auxilliary valves and ran lines from that. It was a lot cheaper than having them do it but not as pretty. Works good though.

Hey rnr,

I don't remember seeing anything about this in the LS forum. I got curious and searched around and still couldn't find it. Could it have been in a different forum?

I'm confused -- I thought whoever it was you were looking for had it done by the dealer before taking delivery of the tractor. No matter so long as you found what you were looking for!

i had it done to my Kioti. They ran lines under the tractor from the rear remotes and terminated it at a set of pioneer couplers up front. Its not an LS, but here are some pics. I have to cut 3 sets of zip ties to remove the loader, but since ill hardly ever need to remove it, who cares. I was thinking about having a mid set of couplers added so i wouldnt have to remove the entire thing....maybe this summer. Well see. He charges me 350-400 (cant really remember exactly) for parts and labor. A real 3rd valve was nearly a grand.

I may have to modify mine to be like yours with a male and a female coupler at the bulkhead instead of the 2 females. Nice: no possibility of getting the lines crossed that way.

this is the first time ive seen this done, and im wondering....why doesnt everyone do it that way. better than color coordinated covers.

About the only disadvantage I can see is the female ends are generally about twice as expensive, so having male ends on all you implements would be a little cheaper. But the convenience should outweigh the price difference.
