Looks like I have found another small item that was not disclosed when I bought my Cub. Seems minor and he may not have even known - other than the big oil spot where he was storing it.

Have a minor delima and question. I have a leak on my front left wheel and my guess is it needs a new wheel seal. Here is the delima. It looks like part number 4 has been glued to part number 2 with some heavy duty ATV black sealant. Do I simply use a screw driver to tap between them to remove #4 from #2? The part I am thinking needs replaced is part number 28 which is the part I bought and is on the way. Do I simply pull the assembly apart and remove the retaining clip part number 21 in order to unstack all the pieces to replace the wheel seal. Second question is what type of ATV sealant would likely need to be used to re-seal them before putting the 6 bolts back into part number 4?

BTW the 85W-140 gear oil is leaking down the backside of part number 13.

Here is the parts diagram:

Well- If those parts weren't glued the oil would leak there huh? Use your least favorite screwdriver and pry the parts apart to break the seal.. clean mating services well and seal up with a good RTV (Right Stuff works fine) Also check/clean up the axle to seal surface if it's boogered up.. Good Luck

Got it off and torn apart. Glad I had a gear puller to get the bearings off. They seem to be pressed on pretty good. Now I just need the wheel seal to put it all back together. The seal didn't look bad but you never know.

Part came in and the wheel seal works. No more leaks at the wheel seal. The bad news is I still have a leak at the steering cylinder where the hydraulic hose connects. I am getting frustrated and don't want to pay the $400+ for a new steering cylinder.

I have a 2006 5264D, BOTH 4X4 hub seals have been replaced. No more leaks.
Mine has an open recall for popping out of high range while under load. Any idea if yours has/had that issue?

I keep mine in low 90% of the time and when I am under a load I have it in low 100% of the time so I have not experienced that issue.
