Front PTO for X495

Could I get someone to measure the overall length of their PTO shaft that goes from the rear axle to the front. Any 2wd X series will do. I'm putting on a snowblower and looking for shaft options.

Mine is hooked into the broom and hard to measure. Maybe someone else will pop up with the answer soon. If not, I'll see about removing it for a measurement.
Overall length?
The long shaft goes from the mid PTO through to the hitch, then a short shaft on the broom (or blower) connects to the long one. And you are just interested in the long shaft length.

Not an actual answer to your question but have you considered the JD ready made one? I was looking at snowblowers for my X485 a couple days ago and they are listed for about $200 that includes the front bracket to hold them up. I am not sure you can save a whole lot by the time you buy the male and female splines and the u joint.

I'm looking for just the length of the rear shaft. Todd, I'm mounting an older 47 blower from a 420 and reworking the mounts. I borrowed a 455 shaft but thats a little short, and want to know if the newer ones are any longer before I buy one, thanks
