Front Rims????

Hi All,
I've finally got around to doing the RCI measurements for my 1602D. 98 inches rear and 62 inches front. I have also managed to get some wheel adapters made to fit these tires similar to Bama's adapters, RCI of 114.
So doing the math, I need front tires with RCI of 72. This means that I need to find a 14" set of rims, 7 inches wide to hold 25x8.5-14 Turf tires. Any idea where to find rims that will fit , or can be adapted to fit for these tires? I think a JD 4300 has fronts that are the same size. I don't want to get a new set from JD, as I expect them to be a little pricey : )

Any ideas?

Maybe a bit af a different problem but here is what I did.

Once I found suitable rims to fit the tires I cut out the old rim centers and welded them onto the new rims.

In my case a rim rotted out and a new one was over $400.
I found trailer rims that were just right (even bolt pattern) but the centers were frail to my likeing so I went the cut/weld route.
Used my jigsaw to cut out the old centers

14" X 7" sounds like many a car/truck size rim.
You could even take some plate stock in, say 5/16" and use old rims as a drill pattern and bore them out on a drill press.
Some welding would finish up the job.
Being a slow moving tractor, perfection and balance are not a concern.

On the other hand just about all rims are made to an SAE standard so with patience you should be able to match up a pair of truck rims.

Last week I was in a tire shop and he had a book that showed all rim standards. That might be a good start. (bring an old rim that he can measure the bolt pattern.)
