DR TILLER, PULL BEHIND, MOTORIZED
The efficiency of these tillers as described would depend on several things in my opinon. Size, weight, of the tractor and also the direction of the tines. Reverse travel on the tines tend to allow the tines to dig in better rather than 'push' you forward. My neighbor has the one made by DR. I thought he was nuts and paid too much for it cause you could get a PTO unit from Tractor Supply for the same kind of money etc. But he didnt have a tractor like my BX 24 that could handle it so he is pulling this behind a beefy garden tractor (JD) and it has a remote control battery operated depth control with forward tine action. He soon discovered that the trick to making this work well was to add additional weight to the device. Now it works well, digs deeper, etc. The feature I liked about it was that you could offset the tiller so that you were not running over already tilled areas. I still could not justigy the price but hey, what works for him is a good thing and he is a happy neighbor.... THAT in itself is a blessing!
