Have to agree, find 2 - 8mm or 5/64 to 5/16

Been reading (member rscotty) some more one the drive ratio and tires sizing. The manual list rear tire size rear tire as 18.4-30, but in the dual speed column it list 480/70R34.

https://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/kubota-owning-operating/327487-4wd-front-rear-tire-ratios-2.html

Current tires are Titans and 18.4-30 rear an 12.4-24 front and all are radials. Looking up the tires the circumference for rear is 182 inch, and front 137 inch. Also looked up other tires which are within an inch of these. Unable to find the gear ratio for the M85 or 95, but did find for the M7040 as 1.438

If I use the same ratio, front 137x1.438 = 197.006
This is a 15 inch over run by the front tires, which doesn't add up

Tire size show for the M8540 and M9540
Front 12.4-24 or 360/70R24
Rear 18.4-30 steel, 16.9-34 cast iron, 480/70R34 (this tire is 18.4-30 and has 187 inch circumference)

Unable to see that much difference in ratio so the M85 and 95 must have a different ratio

Edit: I do have cast rear wheels

I figured out the axle ratio, its 1.3529 which makes the front turning 185.3473 and rear at 182 so front is over running the rear by 3 inches and is good

Ratio is 185.3473/182 = 1.018:1 or rounded 1.02:1
