Hey guys,

Ive got a problem with the tractor once again.... The front left wheel of the tractor is angled pretty noticeably. If you look at it, you can clearly see that the bottom portion of the wheel is angled in towards the tractor pretty good. It does not wobble when rolling, which means that the bottom portion stays angled inward even when moving, which also tells me that is not the lug nuts etc... I took the wheel off and you can see that the assembly where the wheel mounts, is angled in at the bottom slightly...

How can I adjust this as the only moving parts are for moving horizontally when when turning the wheel, everything else seems pretty stationary...

If you want some serious and helpful advice you need to give more information such as year, make, model and pictures showing your problem would help greatly.

it is a 2005 FarmPro model 2425

that is a chinese tractor that is equivalent to Jinma 200 series tractors.

sorry for not posting this before, but i figured this part of the assembly was pretty much universal on all tractors.

it is a 4 wheel drive as well.

i do not have pictures atm, but imagine if u are in front of the tractor and facing the hood....

if u look down to your right (at the front left tire) then u will see that it is angled inwards at the bottom. not so much that i cannot operate, i have used the tractor while having this issue just fine, but absolutely visually noticeable.

On most of these chinese tractors the bottom of the wheels is in further than the top. If one is straight up and down and the other is tiped in at the bottom I would look at the one that is straight up and down.

one is straight, and they were both straight when i got the tractor. so its supposed to be straight.

what caused this i believe, is a flat tire some time ago, while i was mowing my neighbors field, and since i was not too far from home, i drove back to jack it up and had the tire replaced and installed the wheel, then continued working...

did not notice this problem until later on... but im sure this had something to do with it...

My questions are:
Does it steer poorly or pull to one side when driving straight?
Have you noticed more wear on the left tire?

If both answers are "No", I doubt I'd worry too much about it.

However, if you do want to fix it...it's most likely a matter of parts replacement rather than adjustment.

Positive camber, a normal situation on both 2wd and 4wd front axles. You'll even find SOME positive caster on MOST auto's and trucks, just to a very slight degree. (with correct camber,) Makes tractors steer correctly in soft ground among other purposes....As mentioned, I'd check the one that appears STRAIGHT just as much as the one showing positive caster. Jack BOTH wheels off the ground and check for a loose condition.
