My brother inherited my Dad's MF 243 (2wd) and somehow managed to let one of the front wheels fall off while mowing with it. He sent pictures and it appears the front wheel lug bolts just came out one by one until only two were left, the the next to the last one unscrewed and the last one sheared.
I'm 120 miles away so before I go help him fix it (he's an intellectual genius but not very mechanically inclined) I want to know what parts and tools to bring. I asked him to unscrew one from the remaining wheel and take it to the parts store but he can't find Dad's old sockets and his tool kit doesn't have one that's big enough.
I suspect they are the same bolts across multiple models and I could probably pull one from my 245, but I thought I would ask here first. Somebody here always seems to know the answers.
