Frontier Forks - Initial Report

I can see where the floating tine forks would be an advantage in some situations (like picking up a pallet on uneven ground, etc.), but I went for the fixed tine forks because I thought they might work better for digging up things like rocks and trees.

So far, I've been very happy with them, both for digging and moving pallets, etc. Seems to me that if you try to dig with the floating tines, they will just flip up when you try to put down pressure on them.

I realize most people probably use them for what they were designed for, and not for digging, but they're pretty handy for that too.

Anyway, I have the 42 inch fixed tine forks on a 2520/200cx and LOVE them.

Thats what i use the 42 inch fixed rail frontiers.
i find that haveing down force is really nice. Like runner.
i can get under logs and pull things up.

I guess you could chain the floating tine forks to the frame down where they make their 90 degree turn, and that would make them "fixed" for those times you need them that way.

Does Frontier make the forks for the SS QA system? How much are they?

JD does have a set for the SS QA, they are in the "Worksite Pro" product line...really nice units...price was pretty much same as every other MFG out there.
Seems like the SS QA buckets and attachments are a more competitive market and JD has priced their units as such....
