Frontier GM3060 Finish Mower question

I just bought this mower to pull behind my soon to be 3320 cab and now my dealer tells me I need a quick hitch kit for it ($219)..........I like the mower but this was an unexpected cost.....can anyone tell me if this is a good price and what it actually does...? ....part number he gave me is 5WD1005400.....thanks guys :thumbsup:

If the lower hookup are clevises (rather then pins), then you would need a Quick Hitch or swap out the bolted in pins for lynch pins.
Frankly, I'd pop for the quick hitch (actually, I did...shown in the pictures below hooked up to the tractor's 3PH). The Quick Hitch does make it much easier to rig the mower to the tractor.
As far as the price...$219 for a Deere quick hitch isn't a bad price at all.

Now, if I am mistaken...you may be asking about the quick hitch kit for the mower itself. That's shown in the picture of the mower's side...the chains instead of the straps from the mower's 3PH frame toward the aft end of the mower...also, the entire frame pivots a bit to follow the contour of the ground.
Again, this will make it easier to hook up the mower to the tractor.

BTW, your 3320 can easily handle a 72" mower...you might want to consider that rather then the 60" GM3060. That's a 72" Woods built Frontier mower in the pictures.

Thanks Roy.....i have an i match already and the dealer quoted me 219 for the kit that goes on the mower...... I need to also check a price on the anti scalp kit for it..... I went with the 60" because it fits a little better in between trees at my place.....
