Rake Frontier Landscape (Rock) Rake

I'm thinking of buying a 6' Frontier landscape rake for use with my John Deere 5210. My plans are to use it for raking rocks, limbs, etc. Does anyone have any information on the quality of the Frontier rakes?

Whatever brand, I would use at least a 7 footer for your size tractor. I think you will find the 6 footer too small when you could do a lot more work in one pass.

With your JD5210… I wouldn’t go less than a 7’ rake or even perhaps an 8’ unit… the 6’ is too small… especially if angled…

If you do a TBN search of “Frontier”… you will find loads of info and a few pictures. I believe Rancar has the Frontier rake/blade combo with his new John Deere 4710.

Attached is a picture of my Frontier LR1072. I love it. I would rate:
Quality-excellent
Welds-excellent
Paint-average.
As stated by others, made by Woods. Here are the specs for all from my owners manual:
LR1072: weight 270 lbs tractor size:12 to 20 HP
LR1172: weight 305 lbs tractor size:12 to 40 HP
LR1184: weight 324 lbs tractor size:20 to 40 HP
LR1196: weight 359 lbs tractor size 20 to 40 HP
ALL:
Positions: Angle 360deg. Locks at 0,15,30 deg. forward right or left and 0,15 deg rearward right or left

Pitch adjustment: by TPH top link

Teeth: 5/16x1" Spring steel, heat treated (double bolted)
