While on my long tractor hunt, I have borrowed a tractor from a friend, and fairly nice L3130. I am pretty sure I ran it out of fuel, the gauge could be a little more accurate. As soon as it stumbled I shut it off, but the damage was done. Put some more fuel in, but it wont start. I looked up the procedure to bleed the fuel system, and have slowly been working my way back to the tank. I pulled the line from the bottom of the tank, and no fuel came out. If I gently push a bolt in the opening, I can get a good gush, but then it completely stops. I assume this is why I have been unable to bleed the tractor.
I assume that fuel should come out of the opening at the bottom of the tank when open?
Any ideas or suggestions would be great.
