Whats the fuel consumption of your C140/FTX140 per hour? Looking for an average under all conditions and not in $ but gallons or litres.

Ag. engineers estimate diesel fuel consumption for ag. tractors under general conditions average 0.048 gallons (US)/PTO HP hour: Estimating Farm Fuel Requirements. I have also seen an estimate of 0.044 gallons/PTO HP hour.

I'm not at all sure whether these estimates can be translated to your machine.

I'm surprised that the 0.048 gallons/HP hour estimate translates this well: 0.048 * 140 = 6.72.
