Sometimes a higher hp engine can get better fuel economy than a smaller motor that has to work harder to do the same job. How do these motors compare? Displacement is the same for each, but burn different amounts of fuel...Will the amount of fuel burned be significantly more for the DK 5510? Thinking of long term operating costs... Will one motor have better longevity?

How prudent you are operating the tractor will be the most important factor in reliability and fuel use.

How conscientiously you perform routine maintenance is the second most important factor in reliability.

You are trying to pin reliability on the iron. In fact, reliability/longevity is dependent on the operator.

Given the same operator, are there no working fuel consumption comparisons? Or given the same operator, will one of these motors show better longevity?

I doubt there would be a significant difference between the three. I'd be more concerned with making sure I had enough hp to do the tasks that needed done.

My tractor uses less fuel at 18 to 2100 if I am working it than it does at 15/1600...noticeably.

You are comparing identical engines with different engine control module software settings. For a given horsepower they should get virtually identical work per gallon of fuel. At least that would be the case in the mid range where you get the same horsepower with something between 1800-2300 rpm. I haven't looked for the specific fuel consumption per horsepower charts but my recollection is that they are pretty flat in that range for the previous generation of Kioti DK engines and those engines were actually slightly different from each other (different bore and stroke, same block).
