Well, I have been beating the heck out of the PT. I have gone through 4 flats, crushed a power wire installing the new steering pump, and a whole other assortment of odds and ends.
But tonight, On my week off to come up north to work on the property, I began to smell dieslel while mowing slopes. I thought it was just splash out. But the smell grew stronger. So I went back to the house. Got off the tractor, and the engine cover side had diesel all over it.
I looked and saw Diesel running out of the pump... I grabbed the camera and took some pictures to get online to you guys for advice on how to repair, replace so I can continue to work over the holiday.
Thankfully my neighbor swung by who is very hands on. He reached won and said it was the fuel line behind the pump. Aparently the screws that go through the pump are rubbing on the hose...
Anyway. Making some mods, wacking some serious stuff.. Will have lots of pictures to post in the next few days, along with making some video...
