Greetings, I'm looking for a crossover for a HECX 0706 fuel filter for my 384. I've searched here on Chinese tractors, I know it here but can't find it. Thankyou

Takes the same filters as my Y485, and I think what I have on there now is a NAPA 3195

Thanks Greg, I found one thread that pointed to the NAPA 3195 also but not for the same engine. I think that may be it. Maybe I'll have to carry it in and compare in the shop unless someone with a 385 comes in with a conformation.
Thanks again.

You are confusing me? You state 384 then 385. What is it?

If its a Y385 engine like on my Jinma 284 then I use a Fram P6503

Valley's got a FT254, many of which were eqiupped with the Y385.

But Richard - you should confirm that, cuz some had a LD385 (LaiDong I think). Double check the engine label.

Greg, It is a y385. I haven't had time to get a filter, been so busy. We have horses now, you know how much work they add to whatever else you have to do!
This little tractor has done so much, moving dirt, rocks, hay, grain, wood, snow and all else. How did we ever do without it. It can get into places that the big Michigan couldn't.

It should take the same as my Y485; I've got a NAPA 3195 on there now

Greetings Greg, Thanks, When I pull the filter off and take it in to compare would I fill the new one with fuel before putting it on? Do these fuel systems air lock?

The low pressure side is self-bleeding/self-priming. But the high pressure side (between the pump and the injectors) is not. If you get air in the hardlines during a filter swap, you'll have to bleed them.

But I usually avoid that by having the new fuel filter already topped up with diesel before I spin off the old one. I first shut off the fuel at the sediment bowl, then put a bucket under the filter. Loosen it, spin it off rapidly, let it drop into the bucket. I already have the full new filter in the other hand waiting to spin on. So far that technique - for me - has prevented the need for subsequent bleeding of the hard lines.

Sounds good, but that won't let me pull it off to take in for a chinese blue print.
Maybe I can count on it being a Fram P6503 or NAPA 3195 do these two interchange?
