How long does it take to swap out the fuel filter on a 4400. I have a cab and loader on the tractor. I haven't looked at it at all yet and need to go pick up the filter, just looking for some insight as I will be standing outside-in North Dakota
I have a 4400, but I don't live in North Dakato, and I don't have a cab. It took me all of about two minutes to change my fuel filter. Turn fuel off, unscrew the clear plastic thing, take out filter, dump old fuel and water in filter, put new clean fuel in, install filter, screw back on. And away you go!
I went out to replace the fuel filter and can not get the valve to close. Can anyone tell me if it should go clockwise or counterclockwise. Don't want to break it off, but it is tight.
According to my owners manual(4310) it looks to go clockwise to close it. It doesn't say and am infering from the picture (pg 67) Manual also says fuel system is self bleeding!!
