Had my son do the dreaded $200 fuel filter replacement last week. Had some summer fuel stored in a drum for the winter. Got contaminated. Tractor ran like ****, almost stalled, acted like a regen happening. Drained and flushed the tanks. Ordeal all by itself, the check valve really works. Filters changed, ran great. Buttoned it up and it quit after a few minutes. Crap, pinched fuel line behind a bracket. Live and learn, usually the hard way.
