Hi guys.

Has anyone attempted to retrofit a fuel gauge on the beaver or similar Mitsubishi tractors ? Just curious if any one found an easy way to check the fuel level short of opening the hood and looking into the tank?

I just look in...I bet you could retrofit a cap from an old marine fuel tank..the kind with the gage and float attached to the cap. That might be straight forward.

On all of the tractors (including my S373D) I have there is a sight tube that runs vertically on the tank. Over time, these get dark and you can't see the level. Just swap it out with some new, clear tubing if the S370 has it.

Is this the tube you are referring to ? image.jpg

Yes, that's the one. I think 1/4" ID clear tubing works if memory serves me correcly.

Correct. I haven't bothered with mine in years, I just look inside the cap for a level.
