Fuel injector pump

I have a Mahindra 6500 4wd.
How do you know when the fuel injector pump is bad?

We have changed the fuel filters and bled the lines.
Tractor starts fine and after 5-10 min. It starts to sputter.

Check the fuel flow from the tank...I got some "cruddy" diesel (this was the red off road stuff that had been in the dealer's tank for who knows how long...get a strong flashlight and look down in the tank for the strainer... I'm betting that enough fuel creeps thru to run for a few minutes and then "starves" the tractor. BobG in Va
