Sounds like you have got contamination in the injector pump. Most likely in the delivery valves. A quantity test is need to determine that.:confused3:

No electric fuel pump, just a mechanical pump prior to the injector pump. I am not familiar with a quantity test, can you explain?

A quantity test is sampling and comparing the fuel being delivered to each injector. This requires you to remove the injector lines and turn them outboard so the fuel can be collected over a set cranking time from each injector line. low volume or uneven amount may reveal your issue. If you feel courageous you can remove the injectors as well and reconnect them to the lines. Crank the engine and observe for a nice fine cone shaped spray from the tips. I would suggest testing one cylinder and injector at a time and USE CAUTION:alert: Fluid will be under pressure.:thumbsup:
