We have a M-F 241 diesel tractor, we bought this summer. It has a small leak, since we got it, but it's getting worse. It comes out of a hole on the side of the injector pump... It used to leak a little when first started up, then seemed to stop. Now it's more I guess. Attached 2 photos. Does anyone know if this hole is a breather, something to do with automatically purging the system if it ran out of fuel? And does the screw above it have something to do with it? This is our (my husband's) theory. Do we dare unscrew the screw with the wire on it and clean something? Or are we asking for trouble? and I should find model of injector, etc, and do this right?
