MF 135
Hi,
I am still getting to know my recently purchased 1966 MF 135 diesel tractor.
I have a cracked fuel pipe the one that goes from the item near the right hand rear of the fuel tank to the tee piece.
The connection to the tee piece has been brazed so I will have to renew the three pipes involved or cut the broken pipe and join it or cut and connect to it with a new end.
Is it possible to join to steel fuel pipe, if so how?
How easy is it to make a complete set of the 3 pipes involved, bearing in mind I have no specialist tools for flaring pipes etc?.
What are the sizes of the threads involved (UNF?)and the pipes?
I have seen plastic pipe and fittings on the web which look as they may do the job but have no Idea where to get them from in the UK or France where I am at the moment.

Regards

Welcome Captain0

You can use compression fittings to reassemble I'm not sure of your tractor but it might be metric tubing not standard.

Cut out the bad spot and use a new piece of tubing and 2 compression fittings.

If it is on a gravity supply line you could cut out bad section put fuel hose over Whats left of tubing with hose clamps make sure hose is fuel rated.

I its pressure line find a hydraulic shop and take the pieces to them make hose to replace it.

ROX might be able to help you on were to go for hydraulic shop she is on your side of the pond in France and Renze is a little north of you
