Did you take the pump off and now putting it back on? If the pump is set to go from an injection shop or is new, then it is just a matter of getting the flywheel in the correct position. I can get that info. for you.
If you mean setting up the pump too, you need to have a dial indicator that fits the end of the pump to set it up right or have an injection shop do it for you. Then you time it on the tractor.

Okay, here is the procedure for a TN75F, same tractor, but for vineyard. The reference marks on the pump must be aligned and the timing gear must be lined up correctly. Hopefully you took the pump off this way. The TN75 is timed at 9 deg. before tdc as seen through the flywheel window.
Look at the attached procedure for removal and timing, but disregard 19 through 27 as this was done at the injection shop.
BEFORE STARTING/CRANKING TRACTOR, back out the bolt located on the side of the pump by the mount face. There should be a flat, horseshoe shaped piece that the shop tied to pump or put in a bag with the pump. This piece goes in a slot under the head of the bolt and the bolt is firmly tightened. This bolt keeps the pump in time until the engine is set up correctly.

how do you lock thepumo to keep from getting the timing off (having pump rebuilt)

In the directions for timing, last sentence, is the bolt I was referring to. It is located at about 2 o'clock looking at the pump from the back.
I locked mine down before removal and when I got it back from the pump shop the shaft is in a different place than where I had locked it down but they said it is timed and ready to go. I know they have to test the pump on their machine but will I still have to go through the timing procedure as stated above?
