Fuel Shut Off John Deere 5045E Final Tier 4

“Real farmers” don’t typically buy the 5 series unless they want a small yard tractor. The 6 series is usually the smallest loader tractor used buy real farmers as you say. Common sense isn’t nearly as common as you’d think either.

Would hardly call it a "small yard tractor", but a 5 Series works fine for me as I don't bale. However, the fellow I spoke of does and he has two 6000 series. Why so hostile?

Wasn’t intending to be. My message was to oldoak. I am on my 3rd 5series. In the larger ag tractors they are designed a little more for field repairs. These and smaller are so easy to haul that I think Deere wants to encourage them being brought in for service. Might be why it’s such a pain to get to things with the loader brackets in the way.

You have a point. All makers, vehicles as well as tractors, are becoming harder to service and repair by the user. They won't get me with the fuel shut-off, though. Going to put a value in the line. As to size, given the really big ones (saw a 9000 Series the other day) mine is kind of puny, but it does the job and I like it. Take care, man. Was joking about you being hostile.
