Fuel Skid "Dolly"?

   / Fuel Skid "Dolly"? #12
I have a 300 or 350 gallon fuel skid that I wanted to make 'semi-mobile'. Basically be able to slowly move it around the shop if needed. Not down the road or anything.

Before I start building something, I might as well see if anyone has come across something like this or main their own?

I'm tempted to look at old grain cart frames and go with that. Otherwise I'll fab a steel framework and go from there.

If the tank weighs 300 pounds and the fuel weighs 2,100 - 2,500 pounds
you're looking at moving around 3,000 pounds around a shop.

Certainly, you can find a spot that will never ever need to be disturned and just drop it there.

We all have a spot like that for example where our large compressor sits it never moves.
Do the same with the fuel tank.

You're thinking of moving around the average weight of an automobile.
