Fuel tank and pump

I want to put a fuel cell in my Duramax. I have never owned one before so I am looking for all input. I see there are Rectangles and L's. Any benefit to either deseign ? What holds them in place ? What is the best type of pump handle Duel flow hand pump or electric ? Are the electric ones difficult to wire ? And how do you keep someone from stealing your fuel ??? Dave
