Looking for thoughts I should consider before I build. Especially things that are a bit harder to retrofit (ie running conduit or pipes under slab before it is poured).

I’m looking to build roughly 40x60 garage to hold my three tractors. Two are open compacts. The third is a full size 100hp cabbed tractor with loader that pulls a 18 batwing. I don’t need to but i’m like to be able to park them all under cover, maybe the big one is in an I enclosed space.

I’m in central Florida. I already have a 25x25 shop. Connecting them is going to logistically not worth it I think but they will Be next to each other.

I could see possibly converting a portion to an office and thus needing HVAC and probably a bathroom but I don’t have that much cash laying around for that effort. I DON’t reasonably expect to ever want to turn it into a living space. I live on property about 100 from where this will be built. I plan on building this myself although with some substantial help. Because its a farm I don’t need to pull permits (unless I do things like go three story or make it huge like 10k/Sqft or something) or even build to code though I intend to generally meet or exceed it. My current use is citrus converting to a wholesale tree farm.
