I don't know if it was just my store or not, but today I bought a new 6' Tarter brand round back rotary cutter. Original price was $1299.99. Clearance price was $699.99!
It's light duty, but I just need it for my grass pastures. It's been sitting on the lot for a couple years, but it's in good shape and not too faded. I'll just be storing it under the edge of a shed anyway.
It may be worth a shot to check your local store if you're in need of a light duty cutter. I guess it's possible my store was the only one that had one still sitting on the lot. FYI, the County Line cutters were regular price, $999.99 for a 6'.
