Does anyone know at what RPM does the front PTO of the G1800/G1900 turn?
I want to connect a two-stage hydraulic pump to mine to run a log splitter. The pump is designed for 3600 RPM, so I'll probably need a increase the speed with pulleys. It is a 28GPM/6GPM pump, and requires a 13 HP engine, so the 16HP on my G1800 is about right. I plan on using quick-connect fittings, so that I can connect this in place of the 8HP/16GPM setup on my splitter, but yet still use the splitter stand alone. This way, I get a much faster splitter at home, but can still take splitter somewhere else w/o requiring the tractor.
I had considered a 540-PTO pump on my B7100, but those pumps all seem to be single stage.
Thanks,
Jay
