Is the engine locked up? Do you get any power at all? lights? Any humming?

I do not believe it is locked up. I do get humming .. not sure on the lights.

OK .. I was able to jump the terminal the solenoid and the diesel fired right up. I guess the next step is to see about finding a wiring diagram and getting out the volt meter. Also the dash worked and headlights worked. It's gotta be something between the ignition switch to back box and black box back to the starter. I will see what I can find out tomorrow.

Thanks for all the help so far!

Our G1900 had a similar problem and I followed your route to no avail. finally after a calming breath and a beer I tore the dash apart and found a rubbed wire down where they go through the "firewall" towards the engine bay.

You may be building up resistance in all the safety switches and wires. Had this problem with my BX2200. There is a JD relay that plugs right in and gives you a full 12 volts to the starter solenoid.
There is a thread on here with the part number for the relay.

My G1900 did the same thing and it was the switch. I replaced it and two years later it did the same thing again. I just put a starter button on it and it has been working for four years now. Much cheaper than a new switch from Kubota.

Well the G1900 is up and running. It seemed that the plug on the ignition switch was either not seated well or the wires were not connecting. I removed the plug to use a multi-meter to make sure the switch was working properly (it was) and when I plugged it back in it started right up. After I had it running .. I went to start it again and it was dead .. no clicking no glow-plugs and was puzzled. I pulled the fuses (again) and checked them all with the multi-meter and they all checked good .. put them all back in and it started right up again. So net-net was a bad connection in the ignition plug and a fuse that was not making good contact.

Thanks again for all the tips!
