am trying to due some needed maintenance on an elderly friends tractor that I use to mow her fields.
book says use 80wt oil in transmission seeing else where use hydraulic fluid which is correct? I assume the little dipstick near rubber plug is to check level of transmission and also assume that transmission lube and hydraulics use the same fluid?
Where do you check rear axle/differential fluid, or is it also tied into transmission fluid?
have couple filters, I think 1 goes underneath off the side of transmission it is metal mesh believe #1480-508-214-00
other is paper #1524-102-311-00 have not figured out what it is for, ideas?
this is a whole different world then my SuperA,LOL
take care and have a great one!
