Hi Everyone,
I recently got a running Kubota G6200H. I was going to put new filters and fluids in it, and my HST oil came out like like milkshake. My current plan is to run 2 gallons of fresh oil through it, drain it, and repeat 2-3 times to clean everything out. On the bottom side of the HST assembly (right near the suction tube) there is the "Speed Change Arm" that looks like it is pressed onto a bolt. There is oil leaking from the lip seal right above that. I don't want to put in the Kubota UDT2 fluid until I am sure all the fluid I put in will stay there.
Does anyone have any advice for how to remove the "Speed change arm" so that I can get to the lip seal? I have detached everything directly under the bracket to get better access. I have tried tapping it with a hammer, putting a screwdriver on it and hitting it, and tonight I put a 2 jaw puller on it after soaking it down with PB blaster, and all that happened was the bracket bent. Tomorrow I am going to try putting a torch on it as well, but really would like to avoid having to pull the whole HST and axle apart to get to this one leaking seal.
Thanks for any help!
